One group was presented with a non-nicotine e-liquid, and another was presented with a nicotine e-liquid. The report’s conclusion? E-juices that contain either nicotine or no nicotine are not all bad for your health.
While it is important to note that no side effects were noted, the analysis nevertheless introduces some interesting questions. For example, why is there a connection between quitting smoking and e-cigarette use? The authors of the study theorize that because smokers already are very aware of medical effects of smoking, they could unconsciously add e cigarettes with their habit. Nicotine is addictive, in the end, and a smoker who quits is suddenly confronted with an obstacle they hadn’t known they had to overcome.
